A Greeting Card with a New York Napkin Design

 This blank card is decorated with card and paper from the color bar series and then decorated with a napkin design and self-adhesive rhinestone half-pearls. Decorated triangular card matchboxes are used as table decorations.

1. Apply glue with a glue stick to the light grey piece of card and place the napkin design on top. Then smooth gently from the middle and outwards. Trim the design when the the glue has dried.

2. Glue together the various pieces of card and paper and attach these to the greeting card using self-adhesive double-sided tape. Finally attach the napkin design.

3. Write the following text on the light grey piece of card: Invitation.

4. Trim the piece of grey card and attach it to the greeting card with 3D foam pads.

5. Decorate with self-adhesive rhinestone half-pearls. Print out the text for the invitation and attach this inside the actual invitation – or alternatively write it by hand on the black card using a white gel pen.

6. Table decorations: attach double-sided foil tape all the way around a small triangular card matchbox.

7. Cut a piece of paper to size and attach this onto the double-sided foil tape.

8. Menu card: Cut a piece of grey card measuring 28 x 9cm. Score it in the middle using a bone folder or a blunt needle and fold it in the middle. Attach card, paper and decorations using the same procedure as when making the greeting card/invitation.

A Boy’s Card

       
Festive invitations, menu cards and napkin rings for the teenage boy. The mobile phone’s keys are self-adhesive rhinestones and the checked paper is Street Design paper (the London series).

1. Cut out paper in various sizes and attach to the card.

2. Cut out a photo and attach it to the card.

3. Make a hole for the silver-plated wire.

4. Cut two pieces of silver-plated wire and bend to form a loop at one end of each piece.

5. Pull three beads onto each wire.

6. Feed the wires through the hole in the card.

7. Bend the wires on the back and attach a small piece of card over the wire ends.

8. Attach self-adhesive rhinestones to the card.

9. Attach a piece of checked ribbon onto the card with double-sided adhesive tape.

10. Cut two small pieces of checked ribbon and attach them onto the card and finish off with a self-adhesive rhinestone.

11. Make a small bow tie from the ribbon.

12. A variation with a napkin ring.

Cut a piece of card and attach a piece of ribbon with double-sided adhesive tape and then the same procedure as before. Tie the ribbon in a bow around a rolled up napkin.

A Wedding Invitation and Table Decoration

       
The invitation and table decorations are made from heart-shaped cards and laser cut cardboard with organza ribbon, adhesive rhinestone half-pearls, satin hearts and pearlescent card.

1. Invitation: draw and cut out the large heart from pearlescent card using the template.

2. Glue the heart onto the card using double-sided adhesive tape.

3. Attach the laser cut heart on top using whole and half 3D foam pads.

4. Attach the satin heart using 3D foam pads.

5. Decorate the heart with self-adhesive rhinestone half-pearls, which are cut off individually.

6. Make a hole through the card for the ribbon using hole punch pliers. Attach small satin hearts onto the ribbon.

7. Menu Card: Cut a piece of pearlescent card measuring approx. 10 x 14.5cm. Write the menu, print it out and glue it onto the menu card.

8. Cut a laser cut punched out cardboard heart off the lace border.

9. Attach the heart and a satin heart onto the menu card.

10. Attach the organza ribbon onto the card using double-sided adhesive tape.

11. Decorate with self-adhesive rhinestone half-pearls.

12. Place Cards: Fold and assemble the laser cut box. Insert the organza ribbon through the holes at the top. Put a small gift (a piece of chocolate) into the box before pulling the ribbon and tying a bow.

13. Cut out the small heart from the template from pearlescent card. Cut a laser cut punched out cardboard heart of the lace border and glue it on top. Then write the guest’s name on the heart.

14. Table Decoration / Decoration for candle holders: Assemble the laser cut border and decorate with organza ribbon and a small satin heart. Place a small candle holder inside.

Romantic Wedding Cards

       
These wedding invitations are made from recycled card and decorated with organza bags, flowers and satin hearts.

1. Tear the recycled paper to make a square.

2. Attach the organza bag with double-sided adhesive tape.

3. Attach a satin heart onto a piece of card.

4. Print out a photo and attach it to the card.

5. Tie flowers and organza ribbon onto the ribbon of the organza bag.

6. Glue satin hearts onto the ribbons.

7. For the menu cards: attach the organza ribbon onto the front of the card.

8. Tie the flowers together with a piece of organza ribbon …

9. … and glue the bouquet onto the card.

10. Glue satin hearts onto the glued on piece of organza ribbon.

11. Tie on a key onto the organza ribbon on the wedding invitation.
